Anjouan licence: register, status and what the Neospin and Posido entries show

Register, status and values per casino, each with its source.

Methodology →

An Anjouan licence is issued by Anjouan Gaming, the regulatory authority for internet gambling of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan in the Union of the Comoros. Among the gambling regulators whose names appear in the footers of offshore casinos, Anjouan is one of the authorities whose register is fully public as of 08.10.2026: with company, number, type, issue and expiry dates and the reported domains.

Two of the four brands profiled here name a licence from Anjouan: Neospin and Posido. The check against the register turns out differently for each. Neospin is listed with its own domain in the entry of Metlait SRL. For Posido, the number given by casino.guru belongs to a company whose domain list does not include posido.com.

Anjouan Gaming and the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority

By its own account, Anjouan Gaming operates under the authority of the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority (AOFA). Supervision of licensees lies with the Anjouan Gaming Board. That is why footers and comparison sites use several names for the same licence: Anjouan Gaming, Anjouan Gaming Board or simply “Comoros”. AskGamblers, for instance, refers to the Anjouan Gaming Board for Posido, while casino.guru writes Anjouan with the addition Comoros.

The authority grants Internet Gaming Licences of two types. A B2C licence goes to operators who offer their games directly to players. A B2B licence covers service providers working for other businesses. Among the permitted activities, Anjouan Gaming lists online casinos, sports betting, poker and bingo, prediction markets and blockchain and crypto gambling.

The licence conditions include duties that go beyond registering a company. Licensees may carry out licensed activities only on approved domains, and every change to that list requires the authority’s consent. Nominees, trusts or foundations in the ownership structure must be disclosed, including arrangements below the 10 % notification threshold. The authority can request the source of wealth from any beneficial owner.

The footer seal has its own rules. Licensees may display it only unaltered and only on licensed domains. It must link directly to the verification page in the public register and has to be removed without delay if the licence is suspended, revoked or expires. For Neospin and Posido the footer seal was not checked, because the footers of both sites could not be loaded.

The register: search by number, company or domain

The public Anjouan register can be searched in three ways: by licence number, by company name or by the domain under which an offer runs. The result shows the registered name, the licence number, the type B2C or B2B and the status. According to the authority the data is updated periodically; it gives no fixed interval.

The dataset embedded in the register page contained 1,543 licences on 08.10.2026. Of these, 1,311 were listed as b2c, 177 as b2b and 55 as combined. Each entry gives company, status, number, type, issue and expiry dates and the reported domains. All numbers follow the same pattern: ALSI, a block of nine digits and the ending FI with one digit.

The status field deserves a closer look. The authority’s status definitions list four values: Active, Suspended, Revoked and Expired; only a licence with status Active entitles its holder to operate. In the dataset of 08.10.2026, however, all 1,543 entries carry the value “valid”. This snapshot therefore shows no revoked or expired entry, and anyone who wants to check the status has to rely on the authority’s search form.

The domain list also has limited meaning. According to the Registry Disclaimer, including a domain only confirms that it was reported to the authority as part of the licensed activity. The entry does not prove ownership of the domain, brand or intellectual property, and it is not an endorsement either. Which companies stand behind the brands on this page and under which other names they appear is set out in the overview of operators with all known company names.

Neospin: Metlait SRL, ALSI-202509073-FI2, until 29.09.2027

For Neospin, casino.guru gives the Anjouan number ALSI-202509073-FI2 and marks it as “verified”. The register confirms it: the entry of Metlait SRL has the status valid, the type b2c, the issue date 30.09.2025 and the expiry date 29.09.2027. The domain neospin.com appears in the domain list of this entry, among others next to crownslots.com, spinando.com and limewin.com.

Metlait SRL is also the company the sources name as the operator of Neospin. casino.guru lists it as owner and operator, lcb.org writes “Owned By Metlait SRL” on 08.10.2026, and AskGamblers lists it as the company. For Neospin, licence number, company and domain therefore match across the register and third-party sources.

Besides Anjouan, casino.guru and lcb.org name a second licence from the Tobique Gaming Commission in New Brunswick; the number 0000064 comes from casino.guru only. AskGamblers, in an older snapshot, lists Tobique alone. Licences, languages and withdrawal limits are summarised in the brand profile of Neospin, together with the differences between the individual sources.

Posido: Stellar Ltd and a domain missing from the register

For Posido, casino.guru gives the Anjouan number ALSI-202411077-FI2 and Stellar Ltd as the operator, both marked as “verified”. In the register this number does belong to Stellar Ltd: status valid, type b2c, issued on 22.11.2024, expiring on 21.11.2026. The domain list of this entry covers 18 domains, and posido.com is not among them. Nor does posido.com appear in any other of the 1,543 entries.

The operator’s own site does not help: the rules on posido.com state neither company, registration number, address nor licence, only a support address. On 08.10.2026 AskGamblers names a different company, Estolio Limited, and lists the Estonian Tax and Customs Board and PAGCOR alongside Anjouan.

The second number casino.guru gives for Posido is the Estonian HKL000354. It is not in the Estonian MTR register; Estolio Limited is listed there with HKL000355 and HKL000543. PAGCOR in the Philippines revoked all online licences as of 15.12.2024, and no source gives a number for Posido. How these details on licence, company and limits add up for Posido is shown source by source in the brand profile.

Complaints: operator first, then dispute resolution

Anjouan Gaming does not handle individual cases between players and operators, but it sets a fixed procedure. The first step is a complaint to the operator via the complaint function in the seal. The operator must reply within 30 calendar days. For disputes about the outcome of a game, the filing deadline is 14 days; for questions about the player account, it is 30 days.

If the case remains open, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) follows. Participation is mandatory for licensees, the operator bears the costs, and the procedure runs in English. Every licensee must name an ADR provider recognised by the authority and state its name and contact details in the player terms. New applicants must do this immediately; existing licensees by their next renewal at the latest.

Whether Neospin names the mandatory ADR provider in its terms could not be checked: neospin.com blocked retrieval.

Anjouan and Curaçao compared

The clearest difference from the other major offshore licence lies, as of 08.10.2026, in the register. The authority in Curaçao announced on 07.10.2026 that its online gaming portal will not go back into operation; the OGL numbers of Bizzo and KatsuBet currently cannot be matched there. In Anjouan, by contrast, number, company, expiry date and domains are publicly visible.

The two authorities also differ on the complaint route. The CGA does not mediate disputes and does not order compensation; it uses complaints as a signal of possible breaches of the LOK. Anjouan prescribes the route via operator and ADR with fixed deadlines and obliges licensees to take part.

The Anjouan licence and Germany

A licence from Anjouan is not a permit under the German State Treaty on Gambling 2021. Providers licensed for Germany are on the whitelist published by the Joint Gambling Authority of the German states (GGL) since 01.01.2023. A full-text search in the retrieval of 02.10.2026 finds neither Neospin nor Posido on the GGL whitelist, not even via domains or the companies Metlait, Stellar or Estolio.

For a permit for sports betting, online poker and virtual slot games, § 4a GlüStV 2021 requires the applicant to have its seat in an EU member state or a state party to the EEA Agreement. Without a seat in Germany, an authorised agent for service and representation in Germany must be named. The further requirements for a German permit and the structure of the whitelist are explained on the separate page on the situation in Germany.
